Founder Deb Josephs has over 30 years’ experience in Human Resources in a broad range of industries. 

Most recently, Deb helped Latch prepare for its IPO in June 2021 by developing their compensation programs, implementing a performance management process, building a highly impactful People team (which included, Recruiting, Talent Development, HR Business Partners, People Operations and DEI).  

Prior to Latch, Deb served as the first Chief People Officer at Ampersand, where she built the HR team from the ground up, including robust Learning & Development and DEI programs. Deb also served as the Chief People Officer at IAC Applications, a division of IAC, where she led the HR efforts of multiple international acquisitions and subsequent workforce integrations.  ‍

Previously, Deb was a member of executive teams that led eXelate through its acquisition by Nielsen and DoubleClick through its acquisition by Google. Earlier in her career, Deb held senior Human Resources positions at the McGraw-Hill Companies, Ogilvy & Mather, The Bank of New York, NASD/Nasdaq, and NatWest Bank.  

During her tenure at DoubleClick, Deb implemented best practices in recruiting, employee development, succession planning, organizational design and HR strategy resulting in contributing to 40% year over year revenue growth and a significant reduction in employee turnover. 

Deb has a BA in Psychology from Boston University, an MBA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Zicklin School of Business and is certified by the Center for Creative Leadership to facilitate 360 feedback instruments.
